How many Irish speakers are there??

Irish is first official language in Ireland.

Most of modern Irish people speak English as native tongue. And 41.9% of population are Irish speakers(2002). Irish is different genealogy from English.



By the way, "Ireland" is English name. The official name is "Éire"! This is Irish. I didn't know that★

Yesterday

Sorry, I couldn't write my blog yesterday. I was busy very much because I had a part-time job.
I work for daiso. And I worked from 9:30 to 21:40(x_x;) Also, many customer visited, so I was very very tired...
But daiso is good shop!!

Seminar☆first class

Which country do you like?? I will write about Ireland from now on. I'm interested in Irish music. I'd like to know about that more. Also I'll research Irish(^-^) I enjoy this seminar!!

I'm going to go to England in July☆彡I'm looking to that. I want to study English, go to many places and enjoy shopping(^^♪

In this class, I read a lot of books written in English for the first time. At first I thought homeworks were troublesome. However shortly afterwards I felt I could write English more quick than before, and I enjoyed writing book review, diary and essay, etc. To read books written in English evey week is costom now. I sure my writing skill is improving. I enjoy writing now.
To write blog was good experience for me. Also It made me have confidence in my writing.
I hope to be a better English writer from now on!

book review☆16

Last book review!!

I read THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS. I've seen this movie before, So I could read it quickly. I didn't remember what happened in the movie well, but the matter of this book in the last scene was different from the movie, I thought. There were some scenes which were not in the movie, too. In this book, I especially inpressed Mohican's courage and strong spirit. The battle scene is powerful. Also I knew what was colony war by this book and movie. I felt native people's pride. Uncas who is Mohicans, his father and Hawkeye meet Heyward. He is taking two British women, Cola and Alice, to their father. And they are endangered, too. Will the women see their father again? It is also highlight of this story.

This book is a little longer than other books, but I think everyone will enjoy it.

Coming of Age Day

Last Sunday, Coming of Age Day in my hometown. Of course I wore long-sleeved kimono. I went to hair salon to arrange my hair and wear my kimono at 5:30 a.m. I was sleepy very much. My kimono was my mother's one. After ceremony, I went to elementary school to take time capsule. I met many old friends there. There was alumni meeting at night. I enjoyed very much.

book review☆15

I read Mr Jealous. This book is also one of teen stories. First story is Mr Jealous. In this story, Cathy, a heroine, is key person. She is enchantress, I think. I feel pity for Rob who is her boyfriend. Second story is Roberto. Sarah, a heroine, meets a boy from Italy, and she falls in love. This is pure love story! Last story is The BULLY. In this story, She wants somethings. Do you think what she wants? Please try to read it!

This book also has READING GAME. It is ineteresting, but you had better try it when you have enough time. It is a little troublesome game, I think.

Sorry, the picture is different from the book which I read. However the content is same, I think.

yesterday...

I went to guitar club's subscription concert with one of my friend. This was my first visit. We enjoyed it. After that we went to Mr. Doughnut, and I talked with her a litte.

But yesterday was very bad day for me. i can't say its reason on this blog. And I'm not fine today.

book review★14

I read Mystery Girl. This book is one of teen stories series. I read Purse which was of them two weeks ago, and I enjoyed reading it. So I read the same series this time. I really like these stories. First story, MYSTERY GIRL, is a boy who is adolescence's story. Although he has a important promise, he is absorbed in a girl. She is also seems to like him, but she really likes him? The ending is ...you can see after you read it!!
This book has two ghost stories and a simple game, So you want to be a ghost-hunter... , too! I tried this game. The result is... "You want to be a ghost-hunter. Perhaps sometimes you nearly see them" I laughed to this result because I've never seen ghost!
This book never bored me. I want to read this series more!!

☆Favorite places in Kumamoto☆

I introduce my 3 favorite places in Kumamoto. These are Kikuchi Valley, Inorinooka-park and product shop in Sencho.

Kikuchi Valley has a lot of nature.
Inorinooka-park is one of popular night view spots in Kumamoto prefecture.
In product shop in Sencho, you can eat rush ice-cream cone.

It is rain today. So I came to university by the streetcar. The streercar was very crowded!! I couldn't take easy. However I could went to classroom in 1st period in time. I don't like rain day...

I read AMERICAN LIFE. American life, country's story, movie, television and car,etc. This book has many informations about America. America is interesting country, but I have never been to America. I read this book, and I'm interested in America more! I wanna see the Statue of Liberty, I wanna eat American foods, I wanna go to American shools... this book make me think so! And this book has a comic, too. My most favorite page is American Days. This page introduce four American Days with nice pictures. I like this page very much, but I want more informations.
People who have been to America also enjoy reading this book, I think. So if you are interested in America, try to read it!

cold...

It is cold lately. I can't get up early(> <;) So I'm afraid I can't take part in 1st period class in time.

I'm going to go to see X'mas illumination at tomorrow night. There are many X'mas illuminations now, and they are very beautiful. Maybe, it'll be cold tomorrow night, too. However I'm foward to seeing beautiful illuminations!

♪My favorite drink♪

I saw safumi's blog, and I knew she liked KAHLUA milk. I love it, too. It's very sweet and delicious. So I bought that (picture) last weekend! Only mix it with milk(^-^) I drank some glasses of KAHLUA milk, and I was happy♪ I can't stop drinking it. I like other drinks, too! So if I finish some homeworks, I wanna go to bar to drink!! But...I'm not heavy drinker!(o^-^o)
