Last book review!!

I read THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS. I've seen this movie before, So I could read it quickly. I didn't remember what happened in the movie well, but the matter of this book in the last scene was different from the movie, I thought. There were some scenes which were not in the movie, too. In this book, I especially inpressed Mohican's courage and strong spirit. The battle scene is powerful. Also I knew what was colony war by this book and movie. I felt native people's pride. Uncas who is Mohicans, his father and Hawkeye meet Heyward. He is taking two British women, Cola and Alice, to their father. And they are endangered, too. Will the women see their father again? It is also highlight of this story.

This book is a little longer than other books, but I think everyone will enjoy it.

I read Mr Jealous. This book is also one of teen stories. First story is Mr Jealous. In this story, Cathy, a heroine, is key person. She is enchantress, I think. I feel pity for Rob who is her boyfriend. Second story is Roberto. Sarah, a heroine, meets a boy from Italy, and she falls in love. This is pure love story! Last story is The BULLY. In this story, She wants somethings. Do you think what she wants? Please try to read it!

This book also has READING GAME. It is ineteresting, but you had better try it when you have enough time. It is a little troublesome game, I think.

Sorry, the picture is different from the book which I read. However the content is same, I think.

I read Mystery Girl. This book is one of teen stories series. I read Purse which was of them two weeks ago, and I enjoyed reading it. So I read the same series this time. I really like these stories. First story, MYSTERY GIRL, is a boy who is adolescence's story. Although he has a important promise, he is absorbed in a girl. She is also seems to like him, but she really likes him? The ending is ...you can see after you read it!!
This book has two ghost stories and a simple game, So you want to be a ghost-hunter... , too! I tried this game. The result is... "You want to be a ghost-hunter. Perhaps sometimes you nearly see them" I laughed to this result because I've never seen ghost!
This book never bored me. I want to read this series more!!

I read AMERICAN LIFE. American life, country's story, movie, television and car,etc. This book has many informations about America. America is interesting country, but I have never been to America. I read this book, and I'm interested in America more! I wanna see the Statue of Liberty, I wanna eat American foods, I wanna go to American shools... this book make me think so! And this book has a comic, too. My most favorite page is American Days. This page introduce four American Days with nice pictures. I like this page very much, but I want more informations.
People who have been to America also enjoy reading this book, I think. So if you are interested in America, try to read it!

♪My favorite drink♪

I saw safumi's blog, and I knew she liked KAHLUA milk. I love it, too. It's very sweet and delicious. So I bought that (picture) last weekend! Only mix it with milk(^-^) I drank some glasses of KAHLUA milk, and I was happy♪ I can't stop drinking it. I like other drinks, too! So if I finish some homeworks, I wanna go to bar to drink!! But...I'm not heavy drinker!(o^-^o)

I read The Purse. This book has four stories. And the main stories are two comics. One of them, The Purse is interesting story. A hero, Mark finds a purse on the train, and he meets the purse's owner who is young girl after a few days. He is an unlucky boy, but it's interesting, I think. Why I think so? What happens to him? You can understand it if you read the book! The other comic is The Baby-sitters. It's good story, too! However I think The Purse is more interesting than it. The other stories in this book are THE GOOD AND THE BAD and PROBLEMS, PROBLEMS! The former is very short story! And grammar and vocabularies are easy. So I could read it quickly. The latter is teenagers' problem page. 3 teenagers talk their problems. And Scarlett answers them. This book has a simple reading game, too!! I tried it.

This book just likes a magazine! It's very interesting book!! You can enjoy reading it even if you don't like books or you don't have enough time! Let's try to read it.

my favorite place②

I went to ROUND1 last Thursday. ROUND1 is one of my favorite places. Have you ever been to there? It's great place!! Sports, amusement, karaoke, relax area, bowling...etc. You can many things at ROUND1! I enjoyed for 3 hours last Thursday, and I had mascular pain for a few days.

It’s MOTHER GOOSE! This book has 86 songs. When I only read the songs, I did not know everything. However if I listen their music, there are many songs which I know, I think. How many Mother Goose do you know? Mother Goose is very simple. You can read easily and enjoy them! You also be able to memorize all songs easily! There are many kind of songs. I like “Humpty Dumpty”. It is on first page. Its song is famous in Japan, too. Do you know English tongue twister? For example, “Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled pepper…” It is one of Mother Goose!! I didn’t know that. Every song is interesting! I wondered who made them. I really like this book! There is this book at picture books area in library. Try to read it!

I read PRINCE William. You know Prince William, don’t you? I saw Safumi’s book review before, and I wanted to read this book. I’m interested in him, too. I knew his background for the first time by the book.
This book introduces his childhood simply, and it has some pictures. The picture of William at the age of two is very nice! He is very cute!! He grew up with his mother (Diana)’s great love. In his childhood, he had many friends at school, and he often played some sports. His parents took him and his brother to some places to swim, ski and go shopping, etc. for the holiday. He also went to see people with no homes, and to see very ill people with Diana. Sometimes he had a difficult time. However he seems to lead a full life now. There are a lot of things which he likes - sports, driving, reading books and animals, etc! He has a high popularity among girls. He is handsome!! Do you think so? I want to have a look at him, too!

I have a manga written in English. It's FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST! You know the manga, don't you? I've collected the ordinary manga (witten in Japanese) since I was a high school student. And I'm interested in them written in English, too! I like FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST very much!! It is one of my most favorite books.

"The story of FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST is a little difficult", readers who read it for the first time may feel. However you must understand it if you read several times! This manga have many dark stories and grotesque illustrations. So I'm often in a somber mood when I read it. However it has many gags, too!! Gags are very interesting!! Gags are always make me laugh!

I think manga is also a good book for studying English. I actually learnd many English colloquial expressions. Kinokuniya has a lot of manga which are translated into English. These books are expensive (about ￥1000). And I recommend you to read this manga written in Japanese at first.

I wish I could do alchemy, too.

♪McDonald♪

Today, I went to youme town Yatsushiro to do some shopping with my mother and younger sister. And we went to McDonald to have lunch. I ate "gurakoro". It was delicious! I like it. Recently I often order salad set for my health. So I ordered salad set today, too(o^-^o) But I wanted to eat chips at heart! My mother and youger sister ate "ebi fireo". I like it, too!! I often eat hamburgers of McDonald recently☆

♪I like sweets♪

I like sweets very much. I especially like chocolate! There are always some chocolates at my home(o^-^o) Recently my favorite chocolate is Imojyochu-chocolat (￥200)!! This chocolate contains 3.4 percent alcohol. I like alcoholic drink, too! So I like the chocolate very much!

Maruzen also has it. I sometimes eat it in break time at uiversity★

I read The Ghost of Genny Castle. It's horror story.
A heroin, Claire, Mr. Burge and his pet, Alexa are important people and animal in this story. Genny Castle has a secret, and it's a dangerous place. At first, Claire is not afraid of the castle. She is interested in the castle and goes to see it. And she has some strange experiences at there. After that we can know "a secret of the castle" gradually. The latter of the story is interesting spot.

I thought this story had enexpected ending. I was surprised at a connection between Claire, Mr. Burge and Alexa in the latter of the story. I felt this story was curious rather than scary. I was absorbed in reading this book when I came to myself!

My recommended scene is from Claire read two witches' story to the end! It, the latter of the story, is really interesting!! What is Alexa? And what is Claire?

my favorite place ①

One of my favorite places is internet cafe, cybac! I sometimes go to cybac. I had had an image of Otaku to the internet cafe until I went to there. BUT, it was wrong!! Cybac has not only some PCs, Video games or TVs. There are also manga, darts, table tennis, billiards, karaoke, etc. !! And you can drink juices or teas which you want to drink. I surprised very much when I went to there first time. Recently I can't go to there because I don't have enough money and time(>o<.) It is comfortable and exciting place!! I recommend there to you!

I read The Railway Children. This story is classic.

The main characters are three children who live near the railway with their mother. And they are never rich. They meet many people and they make friends with them. Sometimes they are in trouble or get involved in trouble. It seems as if their life is the adventure! After I read, I felt "Their life is wonderful. Happiness is never influenced by money."

An old man appears in the middle of the story, and he is an important person in the story. When you read this book, notice him, too.

The grammar and vocabrallies in this book are not so difficult. However this book has not been borrowed very much yet. If you like, why don't you read it once?

3rd assignment

There is a lot of places for sightseeing and foods in Kumamoto. Kumamoto castle, Mt. Aso, horse raw meat and mustard lotus root are especially very famous. It goes without saying that everyone knows them in Kumamoto. And they are also popular for foreigners or people who live in other prefectures You often see many tourists at Kumamoto castle or Mt. Aso, we think. This time we introduce some things of Kumamoto except them.

First, we recommend Kikuchi valley. Many sightseers comes here. In Kikuchi valley, we can hear the murmur of a river and birds' song. Kikuchi valley is important cultural property of Japan. There are many nature, trees, water, fresh air and so on. Kikuchi valley is cool, so this place is the best place for keeping ourselves cool. When I (Narumi) went to there, I thought Kikuchi valley is a healing place.

Next, we introduce night view spot. We think Inorinooka-park is good place for its beautiful night view. You can get a fine view of the city or suburbs of Kumamoto from there. The view is really beautiful! We recommend you to go to Inorinooka-park on a date. It must produce a romantic atmosphere! Inorinooka-park is one of the most famous spot for night view in Kumamoto prefecture. Actually, we have never been to there, so we'd like to go someday.

Do you like eating? You know horse raw meat, mustard lotus root or Jindaiko is famous and popular foods in Kumamoto. And there is many unique foods in Kumamoto, too. One of them, rush ice-cream cone is very nice. Rush is a special product of Yatsushiro. Do you know it ? The color of the ice-cream is light green, and it's with a little flavor of tatami. You can eat it at product shop in Sencho. There is a rush and green tea ice-cream cone, too. You can eat it at the way station in Ryuhoku. I (Kazune) have eaten it, and then I felt it was cool and delicious. If you have never eaten it, why don't you try once? (product shop in Sencho)

Kumamoto is very interesting. We love Kumamoto. And we have not known everything of Kumamoto yet. In future, we are going to find unique things of Kumamoto more. If we have a chance, we'd like to go to the sights and eat foods of Kumamoto with overseas students, too. While we make a boast of Kumamoto to many people, we have to protect its beautiful nature.

A sad movie which I saw last weekend

I saw thd DVD of my life without me at home last weekend. It was sad story...(; ;) I cried in the middle of the movie.

If you are pronounced your remaining days which is for about 2 months by a doctor suddenly, what do you want to do? The heroine of this movie does 10 things before she dies. That moved me to tears.

I read FOOD AND DRINK IN BRITAIN. This book introduces British food and drink.

Home-cooked food, traditional food, restaurant or pub's food, fast food, a staple food(potatoes) and sweets, etc! Many foods are introduced. And there are some recipes, too! If you like, you can make British food. This book has many nice pictures!! When I looked at the pictures, I wanted to eat all the foods. When you read this book, you will be gradually hungry, too. The most interesting foods in this book are sweets and pub's food.

I like cakes, chocolate and ice-cream, etc. like British people. And one of sweets which were introduced, a trifle impressed me. Do you know a trifle? This book has the picture, too. Seeing is believing(^-^)

Pub is very famous in Britain. Some people actually went to pub this summer vacation, didn't they? If I have a chance to go to Britain, I'd like to go to pub. In this book, some pub's drinks are introduced. I like drink very much. So I want to drink in pub!

I read Australia and New Zealand. This book introduce Australia and New Zealand. If you like Oceania, why don't you read this book? You'll surely enjoy reading. And, you can learn their geography and history.

Do you know Aborigines and Maori people? They are the original inhabitants in Australia and New Zealand. I had not known about their past or life well before, but this book told me about them.

If you go to Australia or New Zealand, where do you want to go? There are six large cities, Uluru and Alice Springs which is in the center of country in Australia. Also, there are some famous cities in New Zealand. The book tells you about that, too.

And... typical Oceanic animals! Very cute!! The book have some informations about the animals. I especially like koala!

This book have wonderful pictures! You will not be tired of this book.
